6 1/2" is a good option to have available so long as it does not superseded 5 1/2" and 7 1/2". Ruger keeps their inventory of .41 BHs lower that way. currently I doubt you could find a 6 1/2" holster so you'd wind up carrying it in a 7 1/2" holster. The package on your belt would not be any smaller. It would be a little less muzzle heavy which would please some people.
