I know they made a batch of them and I heard rumors of a .357/9mm convertible but am not sure if they ever were produced. Does anybody have one or have any info on them like production numbers?

Aaand I just saw Quarterbore's sticky on the Acusports. Still interested in more info on the .357's though.

I have a SS Bisley 357 from 2007 with a 5 1/2" barrel, serial numbers fall within regular 357 production numbers, so who knows how many were made. Ruger's website shows two stainless 357/9mm convertible models for Williams (4 5/8" and 5 1/2" barrel) but I have NEVER seen either.

Along with the 44 mag stainless Bisleys, the .357 ones seem to be the least common. Snagged a con sec #ed pair when they first came out to tuck away. :D Have seen a few others but not many and not for quite some time. 500 were ordered.

Ruger never made the .357 you are speaking of in a convertible with 5-1/2" barrel, engraved cylinder and Bisley grip frame.
But Timbo22 is correct that Ruger is making a .357 Blackhawk in stainless with 4-5/8" and 5-1/2" barrels for Williams Shooters Supply, with several hundred of each having been produced. These two models are convertibles

Thanks Chet, I was aware of those Williams convertibles. I remember some gunshop chatter that there was going to be a run of the convertible Bisleys at the time that the .357's were out but obviously nothing came of it. It's a lot of gun for the .357 to be sure but for some reason it intrigues me. I had a .357 Redhawk years ago which was ridiculous but was fun to pull out and show people.

I have fired one of the Bisley 5.5" 357's. I am not a big fan of the cartridge but that one has to be one of the most accurate I have seen. The owner has a list of guys that want it if he ever sells which he says he won't do, and yeah I am on the list. Pretty far down though.
