I found two AC's for sale at the same price both are stainless and in excellent condition. One is the full size and the other is the shorty folder. I am leaning toward the shorty. What do Y'all think? What are the pros and cons of each one? I would like to know what you guys that have them think. Thanks!

I've shot a few of the AC556K's 20-odd years ago and was just really glad I live in a state where I can't own a machine gun because it was so much fun to shoot I would have had to go buy one and I couldn't afford one at the time......now I wish we could own automatics here.....

I am going to Knob Creek in Oct. I am planning on trying them both out and then decide. I just wanted to get some feedback on the pros and cons of each one. One man owns both guns and said he would sell either one I wanted at the same price. I don't live close enough to him to go there and try them out. I will rent them at the shoot.

I would go for the shorty folder for sure.... any full auto rifle is more fun the more compact it is from my experience.... I've shot a couple from 45acp down to 22lr and the one I liked the most was a modified 10/22.

The rifles I shot were the short folding version -- I want to say they had 10" barrels. VERY compact when all folded up -- and an absolute hoot to shoot!

The shorty is the one I like based on looks. It has a very high "cool factor".
