Brings back old memories. Sometime in the late 50's to early 60's spoon playing was seen on TV now I then, rarely since.

Long ago,, folks had very little,, and got creative in everything they did. Spoons became a musical instrument, and were common in many areas.
Sadly,, not too many folks can play spoons anymore.

But here in my area,, (mountains of WNC) we still have some folks who can play spoons.

Hadn't heard or thought about spoon playing till this. Reminded me that my dad played spoons. He also played the 'juice harp' and harmonica.

Played around with a set of spoons neatly 60 years ago when I was growing up. I never became good at it but my mom can tell you I sure made some noise!
