Well maybe not that famous, but it is mentioned in Reference of Ruger Firearms under SC6. "SC6 aluminum rear sight and no INC in barrel address. Known s/n range 500043 to 504788, and here it is "521514" to 521806 and 538465 to 541016"
Pretty COOL with about 3000 made. I have had it for about 15 years. As you can see I'm running out of stuff to post.
