I guess I should post the kits you can get for 10-22 . There is a pic of the parts and no the back of receiver is a solid block of alum and is just for looks .

I like the look of this imitation "Tommy Gun" and at the same time I don't understand what Ruger was thinking when they came up with the half pistol half rifle Charger, what use does it serve ? Someone please enlighten me !

Just guessing here, but is the little lever under the trigger guard a mag release?

I can't speak for other owners, but I hunt with mine (using a 3x pistol scope):

This is my 22 autoloader for hunting . I've had this since 1968 and I use this mainly for bullseye shooting , I killed a lot of running Jacks and squirrels and the muzzle break works on this gun . I put stock grips back on this for hunting .
