at the show today, it has medallions in the butt stock and is marked "126 of 500 Ohio edition" or such on the side... what is the deal on these, never saw one, only 'heard' about them some time back.........
if we get it, we will post a picture tomorrow..........he also has a Talo edition 22/45, has the screw on wood grips, and a special "eagle" wings embossed on the panels...the gun is a short barrel and slab sided...........

Completely aftermarket. Forget who but it's one of those things where a lot quantity is purchased and independently embellished to commemorate something. Nothing collectable and nothing really worth the asking prices IMO.
 
Yea, I know there is an operation doing that for Yellowstone National Park and MT state, with some numbering like that. I was only aware they were on Henry Golden Boys though.

Check out Ruger's past GB auctions. They sold two of them a while back so one of them may still be on there.
