Watching the outdoor channel "shooting gallery" where a ruger rep said they are definitely coming out with longer barreled 8 shot that will be perfect for competition with speed loaders or moon clips. Nothing on a longer barreled gp-100 44 sp.:-(

A couple of questions about a moon clip feedable 8 shot, can 38 Super rounds be fired out of one? Or if case diameter size close, 9x23?

I don't know about .38 super, but I can say for a fact that 9mm luger rounds WILL NOT work. They are tapered, and the case diameter towards the case head is too large to fit into a .357 chamber.

Yep. As I found out when reloading a bunch of .38 Special rounds and a 9 mm case got into the case feeder. The reloader jammed when the 9 mm case wouldn't go all the way into the resizing die. I had to unthread the decaping pin and drive the stuck case out with a brass punch.
