77/357 Receiver only

Good morning all,

I'm starting a custom 77/357 build project and I was wondering if there was a way to purchase just the bolt and receiver. I'm replacing the barrel and the stock, so it doesn't seem right to have to purchase a whole gun and hope to sell off unused parts after the fact.

Anyone have any ideas?

Contact Ruger and ask, but they don't usually sell actions alone.

Don't know of anyone parting out the 77/xxx rifles.

Your answer from them is going to be no. But maybe you'll be able to find a buyer for the leftover parts to lessen the cost.
