Blackhawk, BKH47, 17243, shipped in May 1959 to American Wholesale Hardware, Long Beach, CA. One of approximately 750 produced with this barrel length. The factory ivory grips are replacements for the originals.

Very, very nice.

Mine's younger . . . #228XX, shipped in February of 1960. Has the XR3 walnut grips. Finish is definitely "patina" but uniformly so. Great shooter.

I got my 1970 Sporter Finger Groove bought in 1971 from Taylor's Hardware on RT. 104 just out of Gaspost / Lockport NY.
