I sold the subject gun in 2020 and at the time, I could not find the factory letters that should have gone with it. That was one of the 300 limited Davidson's guns.

The guy I sold it to, in FL, sold the gun in 2021, and I have since lost his contact info. But I found those letters today. There are two of them, dated one day apart in 2011. It looks like Kim typed one and Wanda typed the other, and they have the exact same info: KBN36X shipped in January 1975. The name/address of the collector who requested them has been cut out of both letters.

If you own the gun, serial number 32-56866, or know who does, I can mail these letters to you or the owner.

I just went back to look in the RENE Ref and see the only distributor mentioned in the KBN36X section was Williams Shooter's Supply receiving a couple prototype guns. It does mention the quantity of 300 made, but not where they went, and I really don't know where I got Davidson's. I have been thinking they were a Davidson's exclusive for years.

Yeah, Williams got the exclusive on the later production guns with 38- prefix, KBN-34X and KBN-36X.
