I have a gun in mind that I want. I am prepared to build it out if I need to, but am 1st trying to see if Poppa Ruger ever sent it down the assembly line. What I have in mind is a Blackhawk Bisley but blued. I have found lots of Vaqueros and such, but everything is stainless. Blued is important an important part of this itch that I need to scratch. If they did, can someone please provide a model #?
I do know that in 2017 Ruger and Turnbull collaborated to produce 500 of this exact configuration. It was made under model #00407. But when I do a search on this model nothing turns up. There is actually one on GB right now with a heavy price attached.
On a side note, extra credit to anyone who can find this in pre warning barrel.

**added comment. I am finding Turnbulls for sale. I am not trying to purchase one of them. I am aware of how to frankenbuild one, and am not opposed to it. I am just curious if Ruger produced a normal production model of the above described firearm**
I sincerely appreciate any and all answers. Even the ones that might not be what I am exactly looking for are still enjoyable to read. Thank you again.

Three Turnbulls on GB now. 15, 17, & $2500. Two other options for blue. Buy a 7.5", have it cut & front sight re-installed or a Bisley Vaquero, shoot it with the fixed sights, or have a S&W style rear sight added. That's about it.

Yeah those turnbulls are pricey, but high quality. Prob a good investment to boot. I have in mind of the different pieces to Frankenstein together if needed, but I hadn't considered a S&W rear sight. Thank you for that.
Just wondering if Ruger made a normal production model of the pistol I'm searching for. And IF they did, what would that model number be.
I may be searching for something they didn't make. I'm not sure

NO, Other than the Turnbull that has been mentioned,,, and it has an ugly stainless hammer.
Blue trigger & Stainless hammer… 🙄

The easiest way to get what you seek is buy a 7.5" barrel gun, and cut the 2" off.
Advantage is you get a Blued Hammer (no longer made) a Bisley Grip Frame that was fit at the factory.
If you really want the "Lawyer" removed from the side of the barrel, good time to do it as the barrel will need to be re-blued after the chop and re-locate the front sight.

Here is what you're looking for,
ME,,, I would buy one of the older guns with the Rosewood Grips that were from Lett, as pictured in this particular auction. They fit much better than the Laminate now offered.
These guns have been selling in the $8-900 range.

Thank you G2!! That link just reminded me of another caveat that I forgot to mention. I require a fluted cylinder. But you answered my question in spades.
It appears that I am relegated to doing what my original plan was.
Frankenbuild it is.
I have a mint 44 mag bisley which honestly, I have no sentimental attachment to. That might be my frame, hammer, and trigger for my next 45. No idea what Ill do with the left over parts from the original 44 bisley.
I have considered a RW frame for the 45.
Luckily I am in zero hurry.
I darn sure appreciate your knowledge sir

Rechamber the 44mag cylinder to tight minimum spec 45 Colt dimensions. While you have the barrel out, have it Taylor throated and crowned in a lathe. Close up the cylinder gap. Add a fitted base pin. Block the action and tune it. Perform a trigger job. It'll be a great shooter for not too much investment.

Funny, that one is listed as sold but the same listing is on gun broker as NOT sold

I also noticed gunbroker ad says "unfired", while the gunsinternational ad says "less than 50 rds down the barrel."

It'd be interesting to know what it sold for on gunsinternational. I'm thinking maybe someone bought it as a low rounds fired gun, for a fair price, and is trying to sell it on gunbroker as unfired in hopes of making a big profit. But that's just my naturally skeptical mindthink working there.

Doh! (Face palm) I saw that the first time I compared both ads. Must've had a brain fart I guess. This old-timer's disease just keeps gettin' worse.... I think. 🤔

I feel I nay gave to remind everyone advocating the use of those 7 1/2" Bisleys as fodder for a Frankengun. They don't build them anymore. I don't know how many were made, but they don't seem all that common.
