Today I slipped away to the range with my SRH and SBH .480's and whilst shooting / reloading a couple of mouse gun shooters nearby chatted me up about big boomers. Y'know what other calibers I had, do I shoot automatics and before you know it I let two fellows touch off a few, boy you should have seen their faces light up! One was really interested in my .44's which I did not take but he said he's be looking for one now!

It was a good day.

Nice!! I love shooting the .480's!!
I may or may not have more than one 😂 I know I won't see it in my lifetime but it sure would be nice if Ruger/Marlin would build a .480 Lever
Anyways glad to see there are others who favor the .480

Oooohhh, a lever action .480? Sign me up! I love my .480 BH and find it's easier on the wrists than a 44 mag. Love the boom a 410 gr cast makes.

I said the same thing on another site and they were all over me how that's impossible, blah about pressures, velocity blah, blah I ignored it. :)

And the rumor has been only about a hundred of them, if I found one LNIB I would probly/maybe buy it if pricing wasn't super crazy, problem is I think the butpad on them is terrible looking especially on a 92 style riffle, that said I would still prefer a Ruger/Marlin just because

If they can make lever actions in 454,460,475, and 500S&W, there's no reason the big manufacturers can't make them too
