44 Deerfield Tactical Stock Upgrade?

i'm wanting to upgrade my deerfield to use a tapco type tactical stock. i'm thinking of trying a tapco 10/22 or a mini 14 stock. does anyone have a good idea which stock would be a good place to start?

I think that would be a lot of work with a doubtful outcome. Why not sell the .44 to me and buy a more "upgrade" friendly rifle with the money? Robert

i prefer large caliber rifles and i'm wanting to keep the 44 rifle/pistol combo i have.

Just a thought ,but what about a long barreled [24"] lever gun , almost as fast as an auto and at least 10 rounds .You have the Winchester , and severial imports to choose from .
