My wife wanted to go for a 4 wheeler ride today so we headed into the mountains, took Callshot along, he's pretty good company.
The wild flowers were everywhere, we had a wet spring & the grass is a foot tall & there was every color of flower you could imagine.
Ruth Ann loved the flowers so I picked her a nice bouqet.

I was going to see if I could fly off this cliff but the wind died down & I figured I didn't have enough air! Callshot missed most of the cliff, it was a loooong way to the bottom!

Dick, those Springs in Soda must be the eternal fountain of youth. Ruthann looks great, as usual ! What happened to you and callshot ?

I had no idea Dick was married to someone so much younger than he. That rascal...

Dick,

I just returned from my place north of you and the flowers were everywhere too and the hucks just barely starting.

I see Miss Ruth Ann looks as lovely as ever,, and the scenery is as always,, wonderful.
Great pic of you Dick!
How were the huckleberry shakes afterwards?

I forgot to get a picture of Callshot but I'll get one next time, he's not a bit camera shy anymore....that goofy smile! Here's one from a recent trip.

We were mostly on a scouting trip for moose & to check on the huckleberry crop, looks like there will be plenty for when Jeff gets here.
Ruth Ann is still beautiful even at 65, must be the huckleberry shakes! I don't think I've ever seen so many wild flowers, the mountains are just carpeted with them.

Your wife is lovely and the flowers are gorgeous this year. To me, they are God's paintbrush in action.

Wild Idaho Forever!!!
