.380 ammo???

Another newbie question.....Is all .380 ammo the same? What I mean by that is, I see .380 ammo labeled .380, .380 auto, .380 automatic and .380 ACP. Will all this ammo work in a .380 chambered for .380 ACP? I didn't know if you had to buy specific .380 or if it all works.

It will all work in any gun chambered for .380, whether the "nickname" is auto, ACP, automatic, etc. that doesn't hold true for all calibers, but to my knowledge, there is only one .380.

Interestingly the 380 ACP is also known as .380 Auto, 9mm Browning, 9mm Corto, 9mm Kurz, 9mm Short, and 9x17mm.
