I have a 357 stainless steel 7 1/2 inch Red hawk with a aim point red dot sight on it in excellent condition. Don't know of any blems on it. Anyone know what they are selling for? I can't find one for sale anywhere. Kinda like to sell it so I can buy a different gun.

Condition,, completeness of the package,, (box & papers etc) all affect the price. In VG shape w/o a box,, $500 & go up from there if it has other things,, !

Just a quick check of the previous auctions, looks like you could get $600-$700 maybe $750 if the right nut is looking. If I was looking for your gun, I personally would keep looking if I found it for $700. But 3 sold for more than that in the last 90 days on GB. If you thought you wanted $700 for it, put it on the GB with a $700 reserve, worst that could happen would be some people on this sight will say you REALLY like your Redhawk.

Like Contender said if you have the box and papers, it makes it more appealing to the crowd that buys these guns that are more rare.

At any rate, nice gun. I wish it was higher on my list of wants..

edit.. Before I offend someone, when i said "nut" I was including myself in that group.

I can't add anything on pricing.
Does anyone know how many .357 Redhawks were made or the years they were produced or which barrel length is more common?

Thanks for any info.

I'd be interested in this as well. Don't think they made them too long, thou I've been told that the 41mag Redhawks are quite rare as well. I've got one in 357 with a 7.5" barrel. I wouldn't let it go for $500 either.

I say $500-$800... I have always thought that was a huge gun for the caliber JMO

Might I suggest looking into trading for what you want also?

A co-worker asked me the other day about these. He'd bought one from his brother and was curious as to it's value and whatever else I knew. His is a 7 1/2" model with the box, papers, etc. His brother, the original owner believes he only shot a single box of ammo through it before tucking it away years ago. It's MINT. Anyways, I asked and guy ay work paid $250 for it. Checked RENE, here and Gunbroker and the next day gave him the details and from completed Gunbroker auctions told him $600-$700. He felt guilty enough that he's giving his brother another $100. :)

Don't have the box or papers just the complete rear adjustable sight that was removed when the red dot was installed. It also has rubber grips. I want to buy a LCR, A LCP and a single six convertiable. Those are the next three guns on my want list. :)
