I bought one of these last Friday and cannot adequately describe how much I like this fine new pocket gun.
My normal carry piece for CCW is a S&W Model 360PD which is a fine revolver for what it is. Carries easily in the pocket.
Back to the LCR.... I am absolutely impressed with how slick the action is on the LCR in comparison with a J-frame S&W. Accuracy is very impressive and felt recoil is not bad at all with the grips supplied with the LCR. I ran several different factory loads in .38 Special and .38 Special +P with superb accuracy and stepped up to factory .357 magnum rounds and the groups opened up slightly, but still inside the size of an orange at 7 yards. This is for a first outing with the revolver.
I highly recommend the LCR and will be selling the 351PD and 360PD, as the LCR is now my favorite pocket carry CCW.
S&W might want to take a lesson or two from Ruger when the LCR can be had for about half what S&W asks for a similar offering in a J-frame that is not nearly as slick.
