So after about 250 rounds, here's a status update.
1. Took a look at the barrel to see if is was peening. It appeared to have a very slight bur on it. Took a fine grit dremel bit to it and removed it as well as created a little slant to hopfully keep the problem from reoccuring. I was definitely not sending it back as I just bought it. I then polished that part and took it to the range to make sure it resolved the issue.
2. So at the range I have worked my way down from 147gr all the way to WWB and this time out, about 75 WWB fired, and zero jams. Actually none at all this time out....first time it shot with zero issues!
So basically pretty pleased with the gun. It seems to be broken in. Just curious about the peening. I guess I thought it was better now to fix the problem before it got worse.....hope it ends here.
