Who here shoots a Ruger 338 Ruger Compact Magnum. I bought a 20" stainless Guide Gun when they came out. I have factory loads with 200 and 225 SST's, and also 185 GMX. The SST loads do about 1.5" at 100, and the GMX loads do better, usually right at one inch.
I loaded some 210 Nosler Partitions with H-4895 but couldn't get decent velocities. I just loaded some 210 grain Barnes TTSX and some Hornady 185 GMX with IMR-4895. Waiting to get to the range to test them.
Anybody reload for this caliber?
