#3 prices

I'm going to look at a #3 in 45/70 today in excellent condition. What's the going rate on these now?

Not sure of 45/70 but you'll see others going for around $650-700. Since the resurgence of 45/70 in some of the states that are allowing straight wall cartridges in addition to their shotgun slug use, I'd think they have gone up a bit as a result. Noticed that one of the Cabela's stores is selling a #3 45/70 for $749.00.

The LGS wanted $775.00 but I changed my mind and went to another LGS and traded for a Desert Eagle 1911U 45 acp!

Good to now. Have a pretty clean .45-70 #3 that likely will be allowed to leave the nest and find a new home.
