Rarely do I see Security Sixes for sale in my area. It helps to have someone else on the lookout. Nephew texted me that there was one available in a pawn shop. Good shape overall but has a little holster wear, which I made sure to highlight as I was looking it over. I would have paid the $460 price tag if I had to. Was able to get it out the door for $425. Acting disinterested and highlighting the holster wear probably helped. It is wearing Ruger target grips which I will keep before passing this one on to a friend. 158 prefix like my other one.

4 inch, blued, .357. Cocking it, the action seems a little wonky/stiff. Probably needs a good cleaning. Those target grips will stay with me and go on my Security Sixes.

It has a lot more holster wear on the cylinder than is visible in the picture. The cylinder didn't want to spin and it was difficult to cock. I removed the cylinder and cleaned/lubed it. Very smooth now!
