NOBODY can tell you how they will shoot in YOUR gun, even someone who has the exact same make and model. Every gun and ammo combination is a law unto itself. The only way you can find out is to bench-rest test them yourself. :wink:rgwarren said:

Just happen to have the Instruction Manual for my new Ruger Mark III (22/45 Model) right here, and under ammunition, says "pistol is chambered only for the .22 caliber Long Rifle cartridge, standard velocity or high velocity, manufactured to U.S. Industry Standards. "
Here are what the velocities are:
Standard-velocity: 1,000–1,135 ft/s (300–346 m/s). Common velocities are 1050-1070 feet (320-325 meters) per second.
High-velocity: 1,200–1,310 ft/s (370–400 m/s) per second.
Hyper-velocity, or Ultra-velocity: over 1,400 ft/s (430 m/s).

The revolvers are OKed for hypervelocity. From the Ruger manual:rgwarren said:

Those same frames handle .22 mags safely so they shouldn't be bothered by hypers. Accuracy is a different matter.

I've shot it in a bunch of guns. Shoots very good. Accurate in all my guns. The powder has a funny smell though. You can get it in a solid too. Mainly use it for woodchucks.

Not accurate at all in any of my bolt or semi guns, but my Single Six loves it.
