22/45 mark iii sight replacement

Any info on hi-viz type sights for my 22/45.. 4 1/2 bbl with the white dot sights. 69 year old peepers ain't as good as they used to be. Thanx Senior moment---- Mark iii

We have several MKII's & MKIII's around here with the Hi-Viz fiber optic sights. We love them! We use ours for NRA WOT clinics too.

I'm looking for replacements for the white dots on it now. I know they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. They are on all my shotguns ( except on my Dad's old model 11 20 ga. ) On all my rifles and other pistols as well.

Wow. Nobody has any info. Hate to spend the hours waiting for Ruger to answer the phone. Maybe give the e-mail dept a shot. Thanx anyway.......

Well, heard from Ruger this morning. I can at least use a hi-viz front with the stock rear sight. The reason ya can't use the adjustable is that the bbl is so short you could never get the rear sight low enough o get the proper sight picture. As a side note my gun was missing the key for the internal (infernal) lock and they are sending one no charge.. Have yet to get bad service from them. Folks wonder why most of my guns are Rugers....
