22/45 color question

On the Ruger site, I saw that the Mark IV 22/45 Lite model number 43915 is "MAGENTA", yet when it came to me, it is "purple". I am pretty disappointed. I'm wondering if there is a large variation to this color? I really wanted the magenta one, as pictured on Ruger's site, as well as many other sites.

Have you contacted Ruger about it? Does the model info on the label indicate Magenta? Mistakes have happened before ya know.

The box only indicates the model number. I checked my two other 22/45 pistol (different colors) boxes and they also just list the model numbers.

On that color board, I see several shades of purple.

Top left, bottom right are shades of purple. The only magenta I see is the center block on the right.

I guess that's why I'm not chosen to select paint colors.

This is a Davidson’s exclusive and although Ruger refers to the color Magenta anodized, Davidson’s refers to the color as Purple Anodized and the model as Lite Purple...
