Sinclair Maine. New Worlds Record 427 ft diameter Carousel carve out of 32 in thick
ice on a Maine lake. Power by 4 outboard motors they used chainsaws and ice augers
to carve it out of the ice covered lake. More here: http://www.newscentermaine.com/article/news/local/mainers-in-sinclair-say-theyve-clinched-world-record-for-largest-ice-carousel/97-536369888

I expected to see prancing horses, tigers, and swans. Greatly disappointed, its just a big disc of ice. And why have that much ice in the river? And what about the catfish below? Seems somebody should have a Cajun Catfish stand for those folks out in the cold.

:D  :D  :D  :!: :!: :!:

You'd be talking Lake Trout, Salmon, Brook Trout Perch and a few others.
These deep cold water lakes hold no catfish sorry. When I was stationed down south
while in the military I really enjoyed it, haven't had any since. ps

Why waste time with that when we have fresh lobster, scallops and still have (yuck) cole slaw?

I have a disposal unit that will handle :
fresh lobster, scallops
It's also GOOD for Soft shell crabs from Maryland.

Want my Address??

I don't see the 4 outboard motors.

I'm thinking there must be a better way to do that whole thing. Maybe like a super Ditch-Witch on a chain tether, stuck to the middle of the circle?

I don't know a whole lot about ice but it seems to me that whole thing could freeze over in a short amount of time.
