When the Interstate HWY was closed, we took the other "long" route home. This meant just over of 500 miles all on 2 lane hwy, instead of 440 miles on 4 lane hwy. We only ended up with about 30-40 miles of packed snow and made it home in 7.5 hours with one quick stop for fuel and taco bell drive through. Even being the passenger, I never thought to take a pic of the road conditions. The worst we saw was 10-15 miles at 20mph behind a snow plow. We did pass 2 pickups off the road, 1 car off the road and upside down, and one fuel tanker truck way off the road and on its side. Where are the state police when they should be writing tickets for trucks with no chains, when the signs clearly say Chain Required for trucks over XXX weight!!!

Great show. The CA displayers arrived home safely Monday evening with minimal weather related road issues.

Photos of the displays forthcoming. Stay tuned.

Looking forward to 2025. It will be the 15th year anniversary display show.

Better start working on my displays now. It's never too soon.

We had some cold (10 degrees) and packed snow on the roads going home but didn't really slow us down much. Home Monday by about 4pm after leaving Napa at 7:35am.
Great show! Glad everyone is safely home. 'till next year....
