Part 1:
I have a nm BlackHawk 45 colt/45acp. I am thinking about replacing the grip
frame with a stainless frame ( I already own the stainless frame ) Any thoughts
on this ?
Part 2:
I am going to put a sbh hammer on the same BH. How hard is it going to be to
do this ?
Thanks in advance for your time

You should have done it all ready then posted a brag thread about it.
The only thing I can think of is to make sure the grip frame and pistol are the same basic vintage so the ears on the sides of the hammer match up.

If you can take it apart and put it back together it should be a piece of cake. I wouldn't do it though, I don't care for the SBH hammer. But that's just me.

Thanks in advance for your time

Went change frame's -guess what ? They are not the same. My Blackhawk has the lock and the stainless does not. Where can I get what I need to make the swap ?
Again Thanks.

And while your placing a order I would get a Trigger Spring Retaining Pin, SS and leave the one in your current frame. It makes a better donor part.
