I guy on Facebook posted a 1965 Bearcat yesterday and 20 minuets later we had made a deal to meat today.

I bought the Revolver and for a 51 year old Revolver it is in great shape. It has one little scratch on it and that is it.

Anyway I am not sure if these are factory original grips but I believe so. Very happy with the deal, also very proud of the revolver. I had always wanted a Bearcat and just never bought one. Had other guns to buy. I could not pass this one up. I did not pay cash in fact I traded down to get it. But Money was tight after Christmas and I can always find a new M&P9 but not a 1965 unconverted Bearcat in this kind of shape.

As long as you are happy,, who cares if you traded up or down. Me? I'd take an OM Bearcat over a new M&P 9 any day. Like you said,,, you can find the M&P's easily.
Nice Cat!

I really never have held the Bearcat before. This is my first and I am a smaller kinda of guy 5'5". I have to shorten the length of pull on all my rifles and my auto pistols have to have a short length of pull available or I do not purchase them.

When I picked up this Bearcat I was amazed really at how small this revolver is. It fits me perfect. I really think I am going to enjoy it. It goes great with my 1972 Single Six Unconverted and my Original Vaquero. Here is the Trio together.

Thanks for all the great comments guy's/Gal's
