Great condition with very good finish S&W M&P Hand Ejector (pre-model 10) 6 shot .38 Special. Built on the K frame sometime in the 1920's. All serial numbers match (frame, cylinder, & under barrel) including penciled on the grips. This started life as a longer barreled revolver. It has been cut down to 4 inches, and the front sight was re-added (removable orange paint added to sight). I bought this used, so I have no idea when the barrel was cut. It looks fairly professionally done, but there are some finish issues in that area. A few nics & scratches, but nothing major. Cutting down the barrel makes it a little thicker than your normal 4-inch pencil barrel. Solid lock-up and timing, with strong rifling in the barrel. I only took it out to shoot once, put it was hitting POA/POI with 158 gr. SWC at 7 yards.
