1911 CMD range report...

Well, I finally got a chance to shoot my new 1911CMD. Went to a range near the house and shot two boxes of 200gr round nose that I had purchased from Freedom Ammunition. Very impressed. Absolutely no hiccups. I did shoot a little to the right with it. It was cold and windy, so I didn't stay long.

I just picked up a stainless Cmdr too. The trigger feels good, the action is smooth, the price was right. What's not to like?

I picked up a lightweight CMD a little over a month ago. Installed a short Greider trigger and with just over 200 rounds downrange I'm shooting better with it than I can my issued Glock 23.
