Yes, he does great work. I've had him shorten a 6 1/2" .44 Special barrel to 5" and install a ramp front sight. He also installed a 5" barrel on a nickel S&W M27.

And the best part is, he lives about 15 miles from me. :lol:

Those loads are for 10mm magnum which is different from the 10mm i believe

I got my GP100 back from Dave Clements the other day that I sent to him last February and it looks and shoots fantastic! I sent in a 3 inch .38 Special and had Dave convert it to 10mm and slab side the barrel and give it an action job. Here is a crappy cell phone pic until I can get some better ones

You are correct. I had not dug into the 10mm stuff before, and there is a difference, in that that 10mm Mag is a little longer.

I have had David Clements convert 4 GP100's and 1 Redhawk. The 3" I had converted to 40 S&W, I can shoot it with or with out moon clips. I had a 4", 5" and 6" converted to 10mm and the Redhawk I had converted to 10mm Magnum. David is the best, all of his work is top notch. The time spent waiting is worth every second. You will not be disappointed. David does a lot of single action build as well. I love my new GP100's.

David does great work, doesn't he? He's worked on several of my handguns. And best of all, I don't have to ship; his shop is about 15 miles from my house!

Why won't Ruger just make the thing available tomorrow? A 3" or 4" 10mm GP 100 revolver would be a great carry piece. TD
