10/22 Takedown Stainless Barrel

Hi guys, newbie question here. I am looking to buy my first 10/22 Takedown. I really like model 11187 with the Altamont Classic VI w/Checkering stock. I was wondering if it was possible to buy a SS barrel for the 10/22 takedown and swap it out for use in this particular stock? I like the look of a wood stock with a SS barrel. I am assuming you cannot buy this stock by itself so is this the way I should go, is that possible? Thanks ahead of time.

Not sure if you've gotten your needed answer, however I would encourage you to call Ruger's Customer Service. They can direct you and/or even possibly assist you with a switch out, if you buy one with a barrel you'd like to change out.

They've gotten rather creative with various scenarios.
