10/22 BX-25 magazine experience?

I'm finally going to pull out my 10/22 from the dark recesses of the gun safe and start working with it. I'm looking to stock up on hi-cap magazines, while we can still get them, so ...

Now that they've been out for some time, what's everyone's experience with the factory BX-25 magazine? Better, worse, the same as Butler Creek hot lips or steel lips? Anyone have 1000's of rounds through one?

They are excellent! Look better than the rest. Not quite as well-made as the TI magazines but very good.

My wife and I have 8 of them between us. Two of them have about a thousand rounds fired. We took all 8 out one afternoon and emptied them out of both of our 10/22's, just to be sure they were all functionally sound. I have yet to have even one malfunction.

Yep, 4kdave, that's exactly what got me going on this thread. Alas, I seem to have missed the sale ... but CDNN runs sales quite often.

Anyway, thanks all for the replies. I see a few people gave negative reviews of the BX-25 on Midway's site, but that could be limited to a certain lot. Who knows?
