My wife started collecting Ruger 10/22 carbines with one of the TALO specials. Today she added another one with a 250th Anniversary addition. Brings her total 10/22’s to an even dozen! She will be rearranging things around the house! One wall.

That's standard safe position for a 45 auto.. It likely has functioning dual safeties
I don't know how "standard" that particular "safe position" really is, but unless the gun has been modified, customized, "upgraded" with aftermarket parts, or otherwise tampered with, the 1911/1911A-1 actually has more than two "functioning safeties". The others were either built into the JMB design or added later with the Series-80, and most owners never even know about them....but maybe that's a subject for a different day.

Hmmm....howa bout that.....hanging on the wall next to a door and part of a open display in "possibly" condition 1 is standard? I seemed to have missed that in all my training in the past 40 years or so....guess I should have been a Boy/Girl Scout after all......

The 250th Anniversary carbine arrived today. Photos attached. More later.
It has Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, Liberty Bell, two Minutemen, Capitol.

It might be cocked and locked, it may even have one in the chamber, but it doesn’t have a magazine in it. Looks like it has a stand inserted in the mag well.

I believe that is condition 8! 😂

Your wife has a nice collection of 10/22’s.

eveled. tagged it... I was going to complement her and Conman for having a gun handy just in case..... but now I'm wondering if at least that is a loaded magazine laying just under the 1911? But then also, what's the deal with the tag hanging off the trigger guard?
