I've run at least 1,500+ rounds thru this carbine with no problems, then it started have light primer strikes. Changed ammo, still intermittent light strikes. All ammo runs fine in all my 9mm pistols. Made sure barrel nut proper;y tightens - no change. Disassembled and ran everything thru an ultrasonic cleaner, reassembled and lubed - no change in strikes, but now started intermittent doubling, firing 2 shots for one trigger pull. Disassembled and made sure everything, including trigger assembly, went back together properly - no change. I'm going to call Ruger next week, but anyone with any ideas?

For the most part the CP carbine trigger group is an oversized 1022 trigger group. There is not much that can go wrong with them. I would look closely at the hammer spring look for a broken spring and make sure the hammer is moving freely, if it's hanging up could just be buildup in the hole and pin. Is it possible that the hammer spring was put back 180 degrees off, I don't know if there is a difference but an easy check. I would have to go dig mime out to look, I was lucky and snatched up a Volquartsen trigger group for the PC carbine.
Here is a link to the MCARBO flat trigger, should give you an Idea of what to look for.
