Yeah , got one of those too.Hard to find and EXPENSIVE! Little bitty fellerI need one of these for a "kit" gun. Maybe a shopkeeper. Yes I do.....
Like you, I find it to small to shoot well but I don't believe I will ever get rid if it. They are just so darn cute.I think that having the engraving on the cylinder makes it a great gun, but overall it is too small for shooters with normal size hands. I was gifted one, but found it too small, so I gave it to my teen G'Daughter who liked it and found it ergonomically sound.
Agreed on the cute factor, but I do love shooting them!Like you, I find it to small to shoot well but I don't believe I will ever get rid if it. They are just so darn cute.View attachment 50424

Do they make the shopkeeper in blued any longer? Or did they ever? lol
I think the blue one is harder to get a hold of than the stainless. And more expensive. They have made the Bearcat Shopkeeper in blue, but it is a "Distributor Exclusive" through Lipsey's distributors.

Note that the blued Shopkeeper has a 3.5" barrel vs. the stainless Shopkeeper's 3.0" barrel, so they appear slightly different.
I've never been a fan of the Bearcat as I have large hands, but I sure do like the looks of yours!Yeah , got one of those too.Hard to find and EXPENSIVE! Little bitty feller
Very nice find. I do like those oldies.Found this one on Armslist this past weekend, made in 1964 .Pretty excited about finding it for what I paid for it. I have 2 other NEW Bearcats, this is my first old model Bearcat. It's probably 95%, don't look like it's been used very much.
Yes they will. Don’t ask me how I knowYep,, ya gotta be careful,, or other members will sneak them out from under you! Buy them when you find them!![]()
Mine was a fine quality little jewel, but gifted it to my youngest grandson for his 13th birthday last year. They have made the Bearcat Shopkeeper in blue, but it is a "Distributor Exclusive" through Lipsey's distributors.

Bought the El Paso Saddlery holster (made for Texas Jack's in Fredericksburg, Texas), and it is a very good fit.View attachment 51380View attachment 51382
