The 1911 is a different hand gun,different use, to me I need this also, its perfect for me, and so on.
The 1911 was never made to be a target, range gun but a combat handgun to be used at 5,7 12 15 feet clean or filthy, covered
in mud, grass, filth and had to work all the time. Some how our engineers figured out how to do all and function. This
brought about "shake it loose" or it won't work...

For 9mm competition, I,we, used Winny WB, 115 grain RNFMJ, @2000 fps. A box of 50,we used to order a case at a time
and split it up at the range, cost 65 cents, a box of 50 until clinton became press.
Those marks are disgusting, can't believe they are in a COLT.

I have a H&K that has machine marks inside the top of the slide but I bought it as a second. The rest of the gun is perfect, the
marks can't be seen unless you remove the slide hold upside down...
