    NIB PC4 questions

I bought a Pro Mag 20rd.for my .40 3 years ago and I had to bend the holding lips of the mag to match the ones from the Ruger 10 rd. ones, otherwise the rounds wouldn't feed right. But it's still hard to load mor than 15 rds.in the Pro Mag.

    Ruger's Great Service

Years ago I had a MKII Bullbarrel and wondered about shooting hyper ammo in it so I called Ruger and they put me on the phone with one of the people in Customer Service and he told me Ruger builds their guns to well excede the Firearm Industry pressure standards. Later on,on this forum I...

    Ruger Single Six

I bought a Heritage single six about 2 years ago,and it did shoot very good and I shot mostly .22 mags.in it and one day at the range the frame over the top of the cylinder broke clean off. I looked on their web site and found out this has been a problem with the Heritage SS. Back in October I...

    what was your first revolver?

Around 1958 I was walking down the main street in our town and walking past the Cigar Store (a mens hangout in those days) I spotted a Revolver in the front window with a holster. It was a .22 HighStandard Buntline 9 in. barrel. Ask the store owner how much and he said $25. I walked out with it...

    PC9 and +p+

Many years ago I called Ruger about this same subject with another Ruger gun and they told me Ruger makes their guns to handle all kinds of ammo including the + ammo. I have a PC 4 and reload ammo and have the powder die set for the maximum for that round and have shot almost 2000 rds.,with no...

Picked up a like new 9 1/2in. SS at a local gun show in Oct. and have had it to the range about 6 times. With the adjustible sights am burning up the 10 ring even at the 30 ft. range. Changed out the plastic grips for a pair of nice wood ones I found on Gunbroker. I like shooting Magnums best...

    Feel of Single Action Grips

I bought a like new 9 1/2 .22 combo at a local gun show the first of this month, and it had the plastic grips that Ruger is putting on them now so it's a late model. I looked around on Ebay and Gunbroker and found a pair of wood grips offered on Gunbroker and bought them and installed them...

New Single Six at the range

Picked up a like new SS combo 9 1/2 barrel at a local gun show the first of this month and it's amazing how accurate it is. Sighted it in for .22 mag use, and a couple days ago took some .22 LR's to the range and noticed it grouped about an inch below the center bull on the target,so different...

Found nice 9 1/2 in. single six at gun show.

Went to a gun show this weekend and was just roaming around before going to work at our local gun clubs table when I spot a Ruger .22 single six 9 1/2 in. barrel. The cylinders didn't have any wear rings around them and no scrathes or wear anyplace on the bluing. This gun would have to be rated...

    PC45

I have a PC4 which I think would stack up real good against a PC45. But you know how gun people are, there just isn't a big enough caliber.

    Sasquatch hunters' rifle

We used to go "snipe" hunting with just a burlape bag and a candle. I think they're both under the heading of BS.
