    New Ruger .22 Revolver Introduced

Got a Black one just a couple weeks ago. Out to the range yesterday, and I do like it. Few first impressions: #1 smoothest barrel I ever saw. 100 rds through it, and the barrel is barely dirty. Very little on the patch. #2 Black on black sights on a darker target is a challenge (for old...

what is the good, the bad, and the ugly on the p-95

It's funny, one of the things I see that some don't like about the P95 is the grip size, and that is one thing (among many others) that I really like about it.

    carbon removal!!

Two things I have found to be good at carbon removal are #1 - Ed's Red (w\ acetone), and #2 - a PB Blaster product called "Small Engine Tune-up. Both will dissolve carbon quite well. Just don't get it on any wood finishes, it will strip it.

Which LCR caliber did you choose and WHY?

I do use the Lee taper crimp die on all the 9mm ammo I feed my LCR. After several rounds your hands do start to feel like they are vibrating, so not a pinker toy, but accurate and controllable.

Do Any Trigger Changes on 10/22 TakeDown?

+1 on Brimstone. The trigger comes back better than you can imagine. Worth the money, better than BX if you ask me.

    lee press

I did the same repair/upgrade 2-3 years ago and my 20+ year old Challenger press just keeps chugging along. Lubing pivot points is a good thing. I would rather repair than replace when I can. As I remember, I had a couple questions when I was ordering the new parts and the folks from Lee were...

MOBLE 5W30 OIL TO LUBE YOUR 10/22 TAKEDOWN RIFLE

i will second the endorsement of Lucas Gun Oil. virtually no odor, prevents hard carbon formation in AR's.

    Which Priming Tool?

Lee Ram Prime. excellent "feel", and no fatigue like the hand primers. You do have to check for brass slivers in the cup, but it just plugs along, gettin' the job done.

W760 loading data discrepancy for 30-06

Hey folks, I just sent an e-mail to the folks at Winchester Smokeless Propellants ([email protected]) asking the same question, and hopefully I get a reply in a reasonable timeframe, but I thought I would also draw on the experience of forum members as well. I have been using Winchester 760...

    Brass plated steel cases

I reload 9mm frequently, and typically use my own used brass as well as various scavenged range brass. I clean up my brass using an internet recipe of water, dishwashing liquid, and lemon juice in an old rock tumbler. I ran across a Sellier & Belloit 9x19 08 case that discolored strangely, and...

    Decocker Only Vs. Decocker/Safety Models

I do like the ability to load the chamber with the safety on (the hammer rides down with the slide as it moves forward). Then, safety off and in the holster.

    Keltec pf9 v p11

For some time I had it in my mind that I wanted a PF9 as my "summer" gun. I had held both the PF9 and P11 and felt that the PF9 was what I wanted. The PF9 seemed to fit my hand a little better. The P11 felt a little too "square" in my hand. However, I then had the opportunity to handle both...

    NEED INPUT ON A P95

To me, the Ruger P95 is the definition of "value for the money". As others have said here, it is a combat weapon, and is more than accurate enough for combat situations. The P95 is only 27oz (unloaded), it feels good in your hand, points very naturally, tough as nails, and always goes BANG...

    Off to the Gun Show....

I also went to the St. Charles show this weekend, and I have to agree that prices are between high and crazy! In the last year I've made a couple purchases (1 on-line, the other local) and saw those same guns yesterday with as high as 25% additional markup over what I paid!

    P95 Failure to feed

This may be too obvious, but one habit I learned long ago was after filling a magazine, to rap the back of the magazine against my hand to make sure all rounds are seated against the back of the magazine before inseting the mag into the gun. A round with its nose pressing against or even too...
