Here is where you look for serial numbers.... Looks like 1983.

As for worth ... depends on a lot of things. Is the barrel pitted. Rust? Will it even cock? Go to half cock? Etc.

Doesn't look like in pristine condition from the photo. Has it been cleaned up? Or is what is shown the cleaned up and oiled condition?

Just some thoughts

Welcome to the Forum!

As noted,, the condition plays a BIG part of the value of any firearm. And the Old Army is a black powder gun, and sadly often are found in all stages of condition. From ANIB, to very poor due to improper cleaning.

I had a stainless OA offered to me about a year ago. There was pitting & rust inside the barrel, and the cylinder had rust as well. I offered the guy $200 for the parts gun. And I saw a fairly good looking stainless one the other day on another for sale, with a spare conversion cylinder in pretty good condition. The seller was asking $850.

It was shot only once. Its in pretty good shape.I was going to offer $300.Is that a fair price ?

It’s in pretty good shape only fired once.I was thinking about offering $300.Is it worth that ?

If it was shot just once AND properly cleaned,, and in very good condition,, (the pics seem to show more wear than a single shooting session,) then $300 is a STEAL!

In that case, $300 is a little low I think. Minimum $400 and you probably could get a lot more for it. I paid $400 years ago for a used (but well cleaned) blued ROA. Here is what mine looked like back when I bought it in '2011'.

Bought one last Saturday. Looked new no Box. Made 1996.
Blue gun. Got everything to shoot it also all brand new. Can of powder, 500 percussion caps, new bullet mound, new powder flask, wads, lead conical bullets, like new Triple K holster, and assorted other stuff all in a super nice leather carrying bag. And I think what is 2 cans of grease. Would like an appraisal if someone would like to hop in the discussion.
