I had one of those colonoscopy proceedures yesterday. Not the most pleasant way to spemd the morning. The doctor did find a cancer in the colon and I am to have a catscan done then see a surgeon for treatment.

Now to see what what follows......

For those of a mind to, I solicit your prayers.

One of the nurses tasked with giving me Chemo said that if God made it so a man HAD to have cancer once in their lifetime, that man should pray for Colon, Prostate or Bladder. They are apparently some of the most easily ( successfully ) treated types.

Bob, I can't imagine what you are dealing with. Having lost your wife and life partner then now this. You will have my prayers and my wife as well. Over the years I have shown her some of the pictures you have posted, shared some of your pertinent posts and such that she feels like I do - we know you and value your presence here.

Prayers for sure, good wishes and for what it is worth, I think you are strong enough to deal with this. Please allow us on this forum to support you as best we can. You are much loved.

Prayers, well wishes, and good karma…..whatever helps one of the classiest guys around here…..from a fellow Tennessean

Thoughts and prayers from Dallas.

I had one this summer, they found one and cut it out. Good for 5 more years.

I guess yours is different? Not easily removed?

Prayers done, sent! Wish you Bob fast and complete recovery, back to normal life and shooting.

Prayers of course. You are a good guy. But now YOU need to do your part. STAY positive and pray as we all do.

My best buddy had the same thing happen 2 years ago. Chemo is wonderful these days. As a matter of fact, he went hunting with me last week. Cancer free.

Hopes for you as well.
