Just giving you my experience that I had changing recoil spring to a heavy duty one and a stainless guide rod and the a heavy duty take down pin all macarbo parts a totally night mare everything jammed anyway put everything out to oem and works perfect . My bad thought it would help but nothing was wrong in the first place live and learn

Based on my experience that comes as no surprise.
I can understand the stainless guide rod and even the HD take down pin--but a HD spring? I don't get what was to be gained on a 22 LR.

Since you said that maybe since I spent the money on the parts already I would put on the stainless steel guide rod and the HD take down pin and not put in the HD spring
It's worth a try.
Glad you were able to get it back working, but sort of curious about what your goal was. Mine seemed perfect out of the box, but just means perfect for me. What didn't you like?

A quick update I left the stainless guide rod in and the heavy duty take down pin use the original recoil spring with this set it runs flawlessly on cci mini mags only but no hiccups so I will stock up on mini mags . Once I put in the Aguila or fed auto match bullet gets ham right away so like I said mini mags period thsnks Cholo for the suggestion
