It didn't change... it just detoured a little for the purpose of arriving at some conclusions. But, so far as I have read, no one advocates carrying unloaded and no one in this thread has advocated carrying uncocked. Now, sitting in the safe or by the bdside at home... there appears to be some disagreement there... but I would say that your post was sufficiently answered, and with more consensus then most threads on this forum.
Somewhere in all this someone spoke of an accidental discharge while chambering a round..... for my money that would mean to at the very least carry with a round in the chamber.
