Max9 locks back with loaded mag

When I was firing a few rounds to verify optic zero the slide locked back after 3rnds. I verified that my grip wasn't making contact with the slide stop. I released the slide and it loaded normally. I could see this being an issue if the gun malfunctions when needed.

I had seen someone on another forum with the same issue. What ammunition were you using?

I had the same problem. Ruger sent me a pre-paid shipping label and I had it back in about 6 days. No issues since then, and I've put over 800 rounds thru it. If I remember right, they replaced frame and few other parts. Still my EDC gun.
