Even when much younger, I never found the need for anything bigger than 45Colt......... I bought and sold 44 Mags back in the day but never shot one of them. Finally bought an OM FT 44mag, will keep this one, but only shoot gentle loads (we're both beyond the 'biggest Gorilla in the jungle" stage).....

Traded my 460 XVR for a Ruger compact Magnum in 338 RCM that came with dies, bullets and brass. I have not missed that Revolver, it was the most annoying thing I have ever shot. It was a very accurate gun, could kill anything for sure, but the muzzle blast and concussion just didn't make it fun.
Love the little RCM so much I bought another one when my youngest boy decided he fell in love with it.
