Maple Burl...Purchased from forum member Dos Vaqueros...Paid him Sunday and they arrived today, great Guy to deal with. 
They're not only beautiful, but a 99% PERFECT fit on my Sixgun...And, are so finely polished and shiny, I couldn't get a phone pic without glare...Even well out of direct sunlight!
