SWEET!

Let us know how it does.

We had one of those for our FoNRA event about a month ago. I tried HARD to win it,, but alas,, it wasn't meant to be.

Very nice.
What I find interesting is that it has the carbine forearm band. When Marlin made the 94s the 357 had the Carbine forearm and barrel band and the 44 Mag had the rifle band with a carbine barrel band. Which never made sense to me.
Here is a JM 44Mag

Jim, you're right, I had not noticed that before. Here is a picture of both of mine side by side. The 44 is the rifle on top. You would think that the 44 would be the one strapped twice, not the 357. Either way that's still a nice looking Ruger Articruger. Enjoy shooting it.

Thanks, folks! I still haven't had a chance to take it out yet, and I'm holding off on just taking a couple quick shots out back. Hopefully this weekend.

Kind of weird but this one was $1044 out the door. :)

I have a friend that ordered one of these and when he picked it up he was so excited because the wood was like it was one of those sets that was hand selected and absolutely beautiful with all of the wood grain and figure to it, anyway the action was super gritty and not smooth at all to the point he thought something was wrong. He contacted Ruger and they said they would take care of it, however he was absolutely insistent on getting his wood back if they were to replace the gun, they did not replace the gun and fixed it and would you believe the furniture was not the same, as if they took it and replaced it. He's pretty mad and when I find out more I will finish but I hope the OP's gun is good to go.
