Lee dies........ !!!

Replace with some RCBS, Dillon, or Redding dies....

Or at least take them apart and clean the heck out of the ones you have...

lubed wih oneshot.a couple cases had slight scape marks. Only about every 8 or 10 had the hard to put into the die. Most were ok but when i had one that took alot of force it was quite bit of force. I polished the expander that goes into the brass necks. That took alot of the scraping sound and feeling out. Im going to grt some Impersl sizing wax and see how it goes

Did you clean / tumble the brass? If not, clean it.
Use imperial lube, it's the best. Learned that forming new calibers .
Try running without the expander in the die. See if the issue changes
Try a inside neck lube. Imperial makes a good dry version.
As stated carbide is for straight wall not bottleneck
Neck sizing will work depending on the gun it is used in. Usually not good for repeaters and not good across multiple guns.

An often overlooked part to check is to see if your shellholder is seating in the press ram correctly and the cartridge is fully seated in the shellholder. Gunk can build up in the shellholder keeping brass from being aligned properly.
