Single-Sixer
Well, I was thinking, and sometimes that can be dangerous in itself.
But if I'm gonna hang with you folks, I need to start posting something.
So here's my 1st attempt. These aren't overly special, in the grand scheme of the forum.
But they are,to me like my right arm, or one of my kids or an old dog.
If I had a Ben Franklin for every mile I've toted these 2, or for every whitetail that skeleton has dropped in 1 shot, I'd be a wealthy individual.
I bought both these guns new, the skeleton 3006 the same year my daughter was born and she is going on 32, now.
And the single six not long after that.
The skeleton is nicknamed "Ole ugly" in the social circle I hang with.
I own a lot of Rugers.
Mostly stainless, and mostly M77 mk2s and Single action Revolvers.
And quite a few other brands.
But of all the guns I own, these 2 are the workhorses that I grab everytime I hit the Georgia woods, swamps, and powerlines.
They ain't exactly pretty, but I love em.
